About the gait course
The provides a comprehensive overview of clinical gait analysis to those who are relatively new to the field. The course will be comprised of a mixture of lectures, workshops and practical sessions that will allow participants to gain an understanding of normal walking gait, and learn how to describe this in a systematic way. Different elements of three-dimensional, instrumented gait analysis will be covered in-depth, including kinematics, kinetics and electromyography. Real, clinical cases will be used to demonstrate how to interpret this data, as well as relating the findings back to clinical examination and patient history.
