Dear experts of clinical gait analysis,
In 2019, the ESMAC board launched a process to establish a European Clinical Practice Guideline for Gait Analysis. The first step of this project was to define the scope of the European Clinical Practice Guideline for Gait Analysis and to identify experts of CGA interested to participate. The results are available here: https://esmac.org/standards/.
The next step is now to provide an overview of current practice for Clinical Gait Analysis in Europe. We worked with ESMAC members and with members of different national societies to prepare this new questionnaire.
We would be grateful if you could complete this survey before March 1st. Only one answer per laboratory is expected. This questionnaire should take around 30 minutes to complete.
Your contribution is important for the future of Clinical Gait Analysis.
Thank you very much!
Dr Stéphane ARMAND
For the Standard group of ESMAC
The purpose of ESMAC (the European Society for Movement Analysis in Adults and Children) is to stimulate and advance scientific knowledge, professional interaction and the exchange of ideas among Society members relating to movement analysis in adults and children in clinical and research settings. ESMAC is multidisciplinary by nature, mainly interacting clinical and bioengineering disciplines, and ranging from basic sciences to applied practices. Our members are from many backgrounds: orthopaedic surgeons, physiatrist, physiotherapists, human movement scientists, biomechanical and biomedical engineers; as well as many others. ESMAC’s main event is an annual scientific congress which is normally preceded by an instructional course for gait analysis and topic symposia.
